In order to become more digital and future-proof the real estate industry in the region, the Dubai Land Department (DLD) has created a strategic partnership with Second Century Ventures, the investment arm of the National Association of Realtors (USA) to launch REACH Middle East the first real estate technology accelerator in the region whose mission is to facilitate the application of emerging technologies to improve and transform the operations within the real estate sector.
Officially launched this week, REACH Middle East has opened applications to its first cohort in 2025, and it is encouraging startups beyond real estate to submit their applications in a bid to transform how a property is purchased, sold, managed and experienced in the Middle East.
This effort is a part of the ongoing initiative by the UAE to its smart city and innovation plans and acts as a chapter in the worldwide REACH accelerator network. The program will also provide high potential startups with strategic capital, mentorship, investor connections and real-life testing facilities across the MENA region to test and verify their solution.
The accelerator will focus on technologically-oriented strategies in property management, smart buildings, sustainability, AI-based valuation tools, online brokerage services, and customer experience platform.

Industry trailblazer Leadership
Siddiq Farid and Karim Helal will be at the helm of REACH Middle East; they are key people in the PropTech ecosystem with a deep history of launching startups and providing the region with technology solutions that can be relied upon.
Farid, who is most noted to have worked with SmartCrowd, and Helal, founder of ProTenders, have a shared ideal of making the Middle East a global centre of PropTech innovation.

According to Siddiq Farid, REACH Middle East is not a program but a platform to transform the way the real estate industry functions in our region. We want startups that are aiming to have a big impact at scale.

A First Regionally But World Wide

As a pioneer in the region in having one of the first real estate-focused accelerators in the region, REACH grants accepted startups direct access to an established Dubai-based, vibrant real estate ecosystem, as well as connecting them to a global network of PropTech companies across North America, Europe, Asia and Australia.
This project aligns with the overall digital transformation strategy of the Dubai Land Department, including open data, blockchain exploitation, and intelligent regulation systems, aimed at enhancing transparency, reducing process speed, and instilling more investor confidence.

Applications Open
The approaches are open to startups interested in joining REACH Middle East 2025 by applying on the official site. Participants will be chosen to participate in an organized growth program, the aim will be to fast track business growth, build customer acquisition as well as investor preparedness.
Along with the process of Dubai establishing its status as the global leader of innovations in the real estate industry, REACH Middle East might become the regional kickstart of the next unicorns of PropTech.
